This is why I came to SCU
It's been a pretty fraught experience overall, transferring all our accts to SCU, but this app at least works as described. They have a $2500 limit on deposits but were willing to increase that for me, as my business requires. Clean interface, though I would like to cut down the "continue" screens. Thank you, SCU.
Update on my previous review: While the people at the bank continue to be exemplary in their customer service and helpfulness, for the last year and a half I have had the devil's own time doing remote deposits. The app repeatedly prompted me to retake the images, wouldn't process them because they were not exactly the same size, but would not let me change them, and it was an extremely frustrating experience. Taking 15 minutes to deposit one check was not my idea of fun. Or convenience.
Imagine my astonishment when I went to deposit checks a few weeks ago and found this has been completely resolved. One snap for the front, one step for the back, and we're done! Way to go, SCU!
I'm sure they got many complaints about this feature, and I'm sorry it took so long to repair it. But it's done now, and so my review gets upgraded to 5 stars.
Addendum 11/17: I’ve been hoping for touch authorization such as for so many of my apps... when will this appear? Otherwise, still useful and convenient for this small business owner.
I’m sure some of us continue to be part of this CU only remotely, which places a load of responsibility on this app. All of my banking is done through online commands, with the occasional call to an usually helpful rep.
As noted by others, there has been features that have hindered the accessibility of the application and these have been consistently addressed fairly quickly. It’s a growing amenity and while these hiccups take little away from its current performance, they are addressed and the application is further improved.
*This review does not take into account current changes on account services. To include the introduction of a limitation in the amount of withdrawals and said limits met with fees.

Generally, I’ve been tolerant of this bank and the app. It’s nothing special, it’s not the easiest to navigate, and locating information can be difficult sometimes. The BIGGEST PROBLEMS for me with this app is the fact that you can’t initiate an external wire transfer (PopMoney just inherently stinks anyway, but that’s a super downer) and the fact that the Current Balance is emphasized in bold green and the Available Balance is much smaller. I feel like knowing how much money you actually have available right that second is way more important.
Long story short: get it if you want to know how much money you have, but be prepared for it to be a bit of a hunt to find out.
