Works for me!
I am a freelance multi-tasker, and not so good with writing down my times as I work. This app is great (if I remember to turn it on) to keep track of the few minutes or hours here and there I work on various projects. I can see how much time and money I have accumulated, and send myself an email with all the details.
Some of the other reviewers have commented negatively about certain functions that are lacking for their purposes, but really - it is a simple time keeper and wage calculator. It’s not going to run your business for you, so if that’s what you need, perhaps there is another app more suitable, but for me and for the work I do - it is exactly what I was looking for.
Now, I just have to remember to use it every time I start to work on a project.
Easy app but not fully thought through
The interface is easy enough. I like that you could have multiple projects going at one time. However, there are a few issues that should be addressed. First, you cannot delete sessions once you've started the timer. You have to delete all the sessions under each project. It will be much more helpful if you can delete them individually. Second, and most annoyingly, the notes written for each session or not exportable via PDF or email. Entering those notes is completely pointless. This is very frustrating as a freelancer who tracks time. I don't want to have to keep a separate document to know what that particular session was for or take 100 screenshots to remember. If these two issues were fixed, I would definitely give it five stars.
I'm a freelance graphic designer that is constantly juggling many projects at once. I've used many time trackers in my pursuit to make that part of the job easier. So far this has been the easiest to use.
The only thing I would want in addition to their incredibly easy to use interface is a couple folder to be able to move jobs to after they have been invoiced. I am keeping the .pdfs in folders on my computer but it would be a nice addition to the app. I don't want to delete a timer until it has been paid but keeping them in the active window gets confusing when it's time to invoice again.
Love the app and will be suggesting it to other designers.
