Ratings and Reviews
I think the ideas and creativity behind this app is great BUT please fix some issues. It would be great if I could hear back what I said on the slide I am working on. Also the music only lasts for 2 mins and after that it won’t let me pick the same background music to continue. It would be great if there was an option to continue playing background music through the whole presentation. not all presentation will end at two minutes.
Since I couldn’t hear back what I had recorded I had saved the the shadow puppet and sent myself the link to hear it back and I didn’t realize I kept recoding myself talking after I meant to pause it.
There was no way for me to go back and edit that one piece without completely starting over which is really frustrating when I had an assignment due that night. Please fix these issues!
Excellent Assistive Technology Tool
I work in the assistive technology department of a very large school district and have found this app to be an excellent tool to support students and staff with technology. With only 3 AT consultants to cover over 90 schools, offering good support is challenging. Making these "tutorials" is super easy and open ended so I'm able to use it for a variety of purposes. It is intuitive, user friendly and very easy to use the end result. Folks I support have high praise for having a personalized tool to access whenever they need it. This will always be a tool in my AT toolbox!
I had the worst experience.....
I was working on a project for Spanish due the next day and I had to do voice overs on this app specifically for some reason. Each slide took many different recordings to finish and if I messed one take up, I had to start over the slide. And after working and translating for an hour the app shut off and when I re opened it it said all recordings were lost. I about threw my iPad at the wall because I wasted an hour and I had to be up for another 40 minutes finishing it. I had used it before and it was ok and useful but this experience made me want to write this review. Just use iMovie.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
