Always running late?
Sleeping through your alarms?
Snoozing way too Much?
Try Shake and Wake!
Never sleep through your alarm again.
The only way to shut it off is to shake it for at least 30 seconds.
Even closing the app wont help, as local notifications will keep sounding until you shut the alarm off.
Wake up to music from your iPod, or use one of the 20 specially designed sounds, that will have you up in no time.
Included is a cool digital clock that you can use as your night stand, or turn it face down to turn off the display and sleep in peace.
Good idea, execution needs work
Love the basic concept, but a couple of things kill it for me. For instance, you have to turn the alarm back on everyday -- Unlike the built in alarm in ios, you can't set it to automatically repeat each day. Also, while shaking, the app registers no activity to the os, which means if your screen timeout is shorter than your shake period, your phone just goes to sleep even though you're shaking the crap out of it. Seems like easy fixes, so hopefully an update is in the works.
Useful but I already figured out how to beat it...
Great aspect for having a certain amount of time you have to shake, but unfortunately all you have to do us switch the phone to vibrate to turn it off and bypass the whole thing.
Also, the iPod function doesn't work when the phone is locked.
When they fix those two things, it'll be a great app.
First time I tried to wake up using this alarm and I was able to turn it off too easily. The first screen that popped up wasn't the shake screen, but was the on/off screen so I just ended up turning it off and falling back to sleep.
Good idea, but a no go. I'll update the review if the app gets updated.
