"The course of true love never did run smooth."
A new, exciting, multimedia approach to learning and teaching Shakespeare’s plays - Shakespeare In Bits brings The Bard’s most popular plays to life through magnificently animated re-enactment, full audio and unabridged text in one comprehensive package.
Handy in-line translations for antiquated phrases and words are literally only a touch away, along with full study notes for every section, analyses, plot summaries, cast biographies and relationships - everything that you need to make understanding and appreciating Shakespeare attainable.
Enjoy this magical romp through one of the Shakespeare’s funniest plays as he blends several comedic styles. A royal wedding in Athens sends four young lovers and a motley crew of amateur actors into a fairy-filled woodland where they fall under impish manipulation. Could this be real or is it a dream after all?
This Shakespeare In Bits presentation delivers up to three hours of beautifully animated film, along with professional recordings by Warren Mitchell, Michael Maloney and Sarah Woodward, and features the complete unabridged play text.
The Bard hasn’t been this easy to enjoy in over 400 years!

Ratings and Reviews
Highly Deceptive In-App Purchases
First the UI is very very buggy and unintuitive - that’s a story in itself.
The worst though is this: After you purchase and download plays, it will invariably “lose” these. Reinstalling only gives the message “Failed to verify receipt”. Information on the MindConnex website said to uninstall/reinstall the app, then go through the motions of actually purchasing these plays again, but at the last step (where it would normally charge your credit card) it will actually tell you that you have already paid for this app, would you like to download it again? Of course you should say yes.
Today it happened yet again on my son’s iPad. I uninstalled and was about to reinstall - but this app is no longer found when searching the iTune store? So I went through the motions to buy this particular play (I was going to get them all) - only this time I was charged a 2nd time for it!
Highly unprofessional, especially considering such a high price compared to other iTunes apps.
Always loved this play. Now I finally really understand it.
I've watched the movie several times and read the play but I didn't realize how much I missed until I got the iPad version. It's totally worth the price I wish they would do Much Ado about Nothing next. Thank you for making Shakespeare accessible to people that don't have a Lit degree.
I attempted to buy this as an in-app purchase. I was charged for the purchase but was never able to complete the download. I had to search using the iPad and purchase it…again- I paid twice.
