- Search your matches by name, hashtag, job title or company name
- Sort your matches to quickly find all ongoing conversations and matches you still need to message
We're also introducing groups: organizations or events can now provide their members with exclusive hashtags! Are you a member or a representative of an organization you'd like to see have its own hashtag on Shapr? Reach out to partnerships@shapr.net to make it happen, it's 100% free for organizations and members. Does your community already have its own hashtag? Simply add it to your interests to see people from that group in your daily batch.

This is how LinkedIn should be
This app provides so much more functionality and adds value to my LinkedIn account, compared to the basic and constantly crippled features offered by LinkedIn itself. All of my recent meetings have been with new contacts I met on Shapr. Shapr has definitely enhanced my networking abilities in a meaningful way. Although it is clear that their endgame is to ultimately be acquired by LinkedIn m, I hope they can stay independent in a little longer… Heck I would even pay good money for this app.
Great idea and very useful
I've used other Tinder-for-business apps, and Shapr carries that torch pretty well. I have had some great meetings so far; the interface isn't perfect but it's not bad.
Only suggestion I would make is to give the option to chain your location to one city- meaning, if I only want to meet people in SF, I could set it to only show me SF people even if I'm in San Jose for the day, etc. This issue has stopped me from doing my daily swiping on several occasions.
But again, great app! Keep up the good work!
If you're in a smaller city...
I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I've been on the app for a week and I have yet to match with anyone from my city.
That said, I have connected with some cool people from nearby cities. Since my business is online, this works for me. But if you're hoping to meet up with your new connections, well, you might need to adjust your expectations.
