Can no longer make trades
Though I love that I can now see gain/losses, value, shares owned, etc all in one page (that was a WONDERFUL improvement), I can no longer use the app to trade. I accept that I need accounts with other firms to see level 2 info and have better research since Capital One doesn't offer it, I can't accept not being able to trade on the app. Since Capital One has lower commissions than my other brokerage firm, I usually use it a little more often than the other to trade. Now, when I click "trade" and enter the ticker symbol, it just spins a loading symbol endlessly and never allows me to do anything else on the page. I guess I will have to go to a pc or browser to actually trade which isn't convenient when I'm on the go and want to place a quick trade. I see others have been complaining about this for a few weeks, yet no one has fixed it. It seems like customers not being able to trade on a trading app would be a top priority.
Ok, needs improvement
Not bad but it should show the top movers section to give ideas on what to buy. Unless I just can't find it. Also needs to show the auto investment plan in app.
App just gives me the spinning wheel at the bottom when checking quotes. When I tap the sign in option at the top it does nothing. Tried force quit to no avail. I'm on the latest iPhone and OS version. It amazes me how a company with a vast amount of resources and budget does not have the sense to put a quality mobile application out for their customer base.
