Zero-Star Rating

The App Store compelled me to award this downloadable bug at least one star. That rating is far too generous. As you read on, keep in mind that this app has been awarded 0 stars.

I saw lots of bad reviews for this app, but I gave the app maker the benefit of the doubt thinking they would have fixed it by now

They haven't.

Others have mentioned the poor interface: it is; antiquated, not intuitive, and the distinct feel that it was cobbled together at the last moment by an intern.

Not that I have anything against people learning to write apps in particular nor interns in general, but why this app was ever released to the App Store is beyond comprehension. Someone launched it once in iOS 3, and the thumbs were up. Whether it has been tested for iOS editions within recent memory is doubtful.

Oh, but the stability is the best and is why this is a zero-star rating. The app crashes just because and in at least two places: changing the share name of the device, and when you browse for files to stream. I know it crashed for me elsewhere, I just cannot remember.

So yeah, don't waste your time. Badger the app-maker to fix it or ask Apple to remove this downloadable bug. This app should be a founding member of the Crap Store instead of being in the App Store.

Horrible in every possible way

Bad UI design (circa 1990) and rarely works. When it does connect to my TV, half the time I get unsupported media type errors. Other times the same media files are sent. Video skips when it does "work"

Please get some good app developers to redo this. I bought the TV with the hopes that it would integrate with my phone, but you missed the mark by a mile.

Edit: Rather than fixing their other broken apps Sharp just removed them from the App Store. Sharp just can't seem to adapt to the modern world. My next TV will be from a company that knows what they are doing and doesn't live in a time capsule.

It's just O.K

Not very intuitive first of all. Could use some GUI updates. Videos are a bit choppy. Biggest issue is that pictures come up sideways for no reason. Not to mention music gives a media format issue for music it has previously played. Please fix as these are issues a company such as Sharp shouldn't continue to have given the competition that exists.
