Does not work on iphone5
Tried to use with new 60" sharp aquos. Could not find tv.
Put in IP address, no luck.
Made TV static IP address, no luck.
Changed IP address. No luck.
Used friends iPhone 4. Worked.
Issue is most of the videos and pictures beamed came our sideways. Cannot find way to rotate or keep from rotating wrong orientation.
Also, not as easy as show swiping. More like selecting. If select more than one or whole folder, have to exit the program to deselect. Looks like TV engineers did their job and mobile software engineers were asleep at wheel or did not got to planning meetings.
All in all program is Stupid afterthought.
Horrible in every possible way
Bad UI design (circa 1990) and rarely works. When it does connect to my TV, half the time I get unsupported media type errors. Other times the same media files are sent. Video skips when it does "work"
Please get some good app developers to redo this. I bought the TV with the hopes that it would integrate with my phone, but you missed the mark by a mile.
Edit: Rather than fixing their other broken apps Sharp just removed them from the App Store. Sharp just can't seem to adapt to the modern world. My next TV will be from a company that knows what they are doing and doesn't live in a time capsule.
Works really well, enable Aquos Remote Control in menu!
Really like using this to push all of my vacation photos from iPhone to the TV for after-vacay-viewing with ease.......fun for the family to see videos & pics so quickly & easily!
