I love the concept of this but often times the items listed are hard to find or aren't even in the store..You should get kicks for anything purchased at any store-having cat food as one of 4 items on the receipt list isn't helpful for someone who doesn't own a cat. Or condoms at Sprouts- really?! It burns your battery life so I constantly am flipping the app on and off since the only choices are to always run or never run- I also have to refresh it numerous times going into a store because it often says I'm not there yet and doesn't give me walk ins as it doesn't recognize I'm already there- There is a 30 day wait for a store walk in- which I disagree with since I'm in my local store 3-4 times a week...The concept is nice but there are many things to improve- most recently Macy's wouldn't let me run my debit card I have linked with the app as credit so I miss out on hundreds of purchase kicks-They tell you that only their card can run as credit
I just downloaded the app about two months ago. As much as I'm in stores, you would think getting points would be fairly easy. It's not. It doesn't work in Macy's well. I was in Cumberland Mall 2/8 and never got the 200 kicks offered even though I walked in and out if every door to activate the points. Secondly, I don't have a Macy's card, so I shop there a lot but don't get to amazing out the points while I'm there. I use a debit card, and must remember to ask them to run it as a credit which I rarely can. Thirdly, I bought a NutraBullet with a gift Credit that was given to me. I tried to scan the gift receipt to get those point and it did not recognize the receipt either. That was like 100 point. A bit disappointed with this app.
Great but not good changes...
I love this app, there has almost been zero problems while using this app. It is probably the safest and easiest way to earn gift cards. The concept is pretty easy, walk into different stores, maybe scan a few items and earn. I really love this app, I have enough already for a $5 but I want to wait until I have enough to get a $10 gift card. The only thing a don't like is they took away daily kick rewards where you open the app everyday and get 1 or 2 kicks. It has gotten just a little more confusing to use too and they have put less kick rewards in the product/look books. I think they should bring the daily kicks back.
