The Shopping List Generator is a pictorial shopping list that you can use to literally plan out your entire shopping trip. It’s so much more than just a checklist. With the Shopping List Generator, you can:
* customize different lists for different users
* take your own pictures or using the photo roll
* add your own items and categories
* assign item prices
* assign item locations (for example, aisle numbers)
* much more!
The Shopping List Generator application is a complement to our Functional Skills System Software and an evolutionary step in our current software-based shopping list generators. The application allows you to take your list with you anywhere, and has several accessibility options for individuals with disabilities:
* text-to-speech engine reads items and locations
* uses large, easy-to-see images
* item locations are a great reminder when at the store
* item prices are automatically totaled for you!
The Shopping List Generator uses a simple but powerful management system which allows you to use the application either as an individual or in a classroom setting with multiple users.

Great for those with disabilities-but I believe it has many uses
I do a lot of shopping for my sister and end up waisting a lot of time searching for obscure items that I have no idea what aisle they are in-that is what I liked about this app. but everything is too GENERAL,like what if you wanted not just pizza but French bread pizza-well you can edit in your own item or edit the description,but if you edit the description and add in the "details" French bread pizza everything should be fine-no-when it appears on the list it only has pizza and none of the description-why have a second line for description if it doesn't show it? Also it would really be helpful if it had an option to turn off pictures. Be prepared to spend a lot of time setting up your first list. This is really geared for those with disabilities. I also hope they would update it with the ability to add little notes while making up a list for small descriptions.
I have been playing around with this to set it up for my son who autism. We are working on shopping so I thought this would be a good fit. I can not however figure out how to re-use a list??? I don't want to have to re-enter the staples you buy everyweek everytime I set this up. I looked at the online site but no answers. If I can clear the check marks and use it again this will be great. Please advise...I will be happy to re-rate this if you can clarify this point. If I can't re-use lists then I think an "okay" rating fits. I really need this to love the app. Thanks
