As Easy as Skating in the Park!

I’ve been using Mac computers for about 35 years now and comparativly to PCs the operating system is very easy to use. But then came SHORTCUT BAR! If there were an analogy to discribe what it’s like using Shortcut Bar it would be as easy as “Skating In The Park.” You can simply start from the top level of your hard drive and skate down to any depth you like filling your screen with menu paths as you drill down. Want to start over? Simply click on your desktop. I have found most people get confused between their operating system and their hard drive. Shortcut Bar gives your hard drive a whole visual understanding of navigating and its construction. Oh, and that’s just one aspect of Shortcut Bar. Install it today, you won’t be sorry you did. “It’s like skating in the park!"

Easiest way to group favorites in one place.

I mostly use it for current projects to keep folders and related web page URLS easily accessible every day, without digging through folder after folder path in Finder to get to them. It leaves my finder window sidebar favorites list clear for those things that that you want there for longer-term access.

I particularly like the way a folder added to the Shortcut Bar list immediately springs open several of its contained folders in windows for easy selection as you hover your mouse over folders deep inside with nearly no effort or clutter. Select one. Let go of the mouse and it all disappears out of the way into your main menu bar.

A great time-saver!

Get instant access to your most-used files & folders. I got so tired of going to the finder and manually navigating to folders I frequently use. Now I can access them quickly and easily with a click on the menu bar, plus a click on the needed folder. The real kicker: while hovering over the chosen folder, all sub-folders show up, so I can drill down as far as I need to. My only complaint: the Shortcut Bar icon is great; but on the menu bar it’s just a plain old star outline. I’d rather see the colorful icon! Thank you for a very helpful and useful app!
