Battle zombies, bats and rats in an all out auditory experience using the iPhone and iPod Touch's audio abilities mixed with the touchscreen's interactivity. If you like Silent Hill, this is a perfect fear-packed scary addition!

See how many zombies you can fend off before becoming infected yourself with their deadly and mysterious virus. Kill 15 zombies in a row for a coveted Zombie Killing Spree award along with a special bonus like a limited shotgun, flare, or bomb.

Listen to the side they're attacking you on, and touch that side of the screen (or the middle if you feel they're there). Touch the top of the screen to shoot a bat, touch the middle to shoot a zombie, and the bottom for a rat.

Shoot one zombie with a shotgun and every zombie on that side is taken out in one shot. Talk about power, use it wisely though, it's limited to 7 shots before being returned to your pistol.

Can't defend the zombies and need a break from the zombieriffic horror? If you win the flare bonus, just shake your iPhone or iPod Touch to ignite a lifesaving flare which scares off all zombies for a short while... giving your thumbs the needed break from your bloody rampage.

Being overtaken by two rats, a blood thirsty bat, and another pizza hungry zombie? If you have the bomb bonus after a killing spree, just shake your iPhone or iPod Touch to light the fuse on a bomb that does just what bombs do. Kill all zombies.

BONUS Save One Bullet Mode
Like a challenge? How about a really hard challenge? Try Save One Bullet mode to get 20 pistol bullets, and nothing else to defend yourself for however long as possible. Reach a Zombie Killing Spree and you get 15 more, but caution, it takes 15 direct hits to get to the next spree... so every bullet counts and the zombies get more and more hungry as the game goes on. Make sure to read the game play tips to survive!

Can you be today's top scorer? After each game, your high score will be submitted. Show off that high score to everyone else who plays this game and flaunt it well. Can you reach 1,000 zombie kills? We think so.

Scream for joy, for all you iPod Touch users (and iPhone people too) we feature a handy volume control bar on the home screen. We know you'll love it!

You can hear the zombies, bats, and rats approaching but if you shoot while they're far off, you're not guaranteed to hit them. Wait until you hear them closer before taking a shot. Your chance of hitting them is practically guaranteed when they're right up front, to mostly guaranteed when they're nearby, to barely guaranteed when they're far off.

Shotguns should be use wisely, you're only given 7 after a shotgun bonus. Wait until you hear more than one in the same row. You'll take them all out with one hit! Plus, you're guaranteed to hit them, no matter how far they are (in reference to the game tip above).

Use a bomb or flare when you need too, but don't wait until you get a new killing spree, otherwise you'll lose the old bonus in exchange for the new one.

Listen for the sign of an attack and defend yourself before it happens! Scary zombies vampires and rats have a distinct sound right before they'll bite you.

Use a pair of headphones with the game. You'll want to hear which side to shoot on. Plus, Calibrate your headphones easily, on the home screen click the left or right side of the screen to hear a scary zombie vampire noise on your left or right ear.

PLAY IN COMPLETE DARKNESS WITH SOUND MAXED! You'll definitely have scary vampire nightmares after that. Think of it like playing Silent Hill, Trapped Undead, Saw, Twilight, Nightmare, iVampire, Halloween, or Friday the 13th blood gore. Absolute ivampire horror! :)

We recommend downloading and installing the application through iTunes for a perfect installation.

I should have known

by the title that the game would just consist of a black screen with the players tapping like crazy (shots in the dark) trying to kill zombies. Oh well, I only threw away 99 cents.

A good concept but not enough spit and polish

Unlike the other reviewers here, I understood what this game was when I bought it. This is an audio game. Not a video game. It's a game...but it's...different. Think of it as a shooter...but one in which the lights are totally out, or your character is completely blind. How would you play such a game? Well...since you can't see anything, you have to survive by listening closely to the sounds. Again, it's a sound based game. There are no visuals, no graphics. Gameplay is entirely sound based. Slap on your headphones, and by listening closely to the positional audio, you'll know when and from which direction enemy attacks are coming. Tap the direction from which the sound is coming to kill the enemy creatures. Very simple to understand, and it seems some reviewers don't "get it". The concept is one that I like. However, I have some issues with the lack of polish. There's no tutorial. The developer seems to think that people will instantly "get it", but that's not the case. For instance, I didn't really know that there are enemies coming in directions other than immediately left, right, and up until recently. Also, difficulty progression is not so good. It can start really easy, and then just ramp up to near impossible way too soon. There's really no option menu other than volume control. There's no "calibration" for audio, as there is for something like the audio adventure game Soul Trapper (also on iPhone, btw) to "test" the user's ability to recognize the spatial positional audio fx. The front end needs work. Just because there aren't any in game graphics doesn't mean there shouldn't be a front end menu. Also, there's one enemy in particular that is just nigh impossible to get a bead on (sounds like a snake).

It is a blank screen. Just lock your phone and tap same effect. REFUND!!!!!
