Formation maker needs work
I bought this mostly for the formation design option, with the dancing ideas as a bonus. I am a Show Choir Director and was looking for an easy way to set up my students and move them around into different blocks. The initial setup was quite difficult, as the grids don't align well with standard show choir riser sizes. Then, once I figured out how to create people and label them, I created 1 decent formation. I saved a screenshot, only to discover that the photo didn't include the label. I used the old-fashioned way to screenshot after that. Making new formations was quite cumbersome, as you have to select, copy, place in a new spot, and then delete the first location - not to mention having to re-select the color and icon if you change genders. I was able to get 2 more decent screenshots, and then made the mistake of hitting the "back" button. All was lost!! There doesn't seem to be a way to save anything! I am going back to pencil and paper. I only gave it 2 stars because the dance moves might prove helpful in a pinch. Please do some serious work on the formation options!!
