Imagine a service as easy to use as your TV, only smarter and more personalized. That's Showyou.
With Showyou, you're in charge of the lineup. You can follow 100s of channels on Showyou, including fan-funded channels with exclusive programming like Fast Lane Daily or free channels from top publishers on the web like The Verge, Buzzfeed, the New York Times, and Vevo.
And, you can get recommendations on what you should watch from people you know and trust -- including people you know on Showyou, top bloggers and curators, and contacts on social networks like Twitter.
Once you've set up Showyou, it's tuned to your tastes and interests, and it's available on all your devices. You can even use Showyou to power your TV if you have an Apple TV (via Airplay) or Chromecast.
Whenever you launch the app, we’ll highlight the best things for you to watch. Our personalized feeds are perfect for those times where you’ve got just ten to twenty minutes and want to see the day’s best videos.
You can also use Showyou to spend time catching up on your favorite channels, which are always just a tap away.
Watching videos on Showyou is effortless. Tap to play a video and then sit back and watch all the videos in your feeds or channels; or use the carousel to browse video-by-video.

Disappointed with the Update
I used to use this app every day, but the new update took away the easy one finger swipe to the next video. It would allow me to watch every video on my feed and an easy swipe would skip it, if I wanted. But now I have to make judgments on the video title and screenshot to see if I want to even push play, which is more time consuming.
Another annoying thing about the update is the fact that when I want to easily pause to see the title of the video (it doesn't show it at all) or if I want to rewind/forward/restart the video it's pretty much impossible and most of the time it will crash. Even if I pause a video and try to play it, a lot of the time it will lag, sometimes crash,/or play the audio with a blackened screen.
I think they should just revert to the previous build of the app imo.
Update: they made another update that only makes it harder to get where you want to go. The app creators don't know how to make things work easier and it's a fail. I'm gonna stop using this app.
Not liking some of the new features
When I want to pause a video playing in fullscreen view, I tap on the screen, which automatically exits fullscreen view and then shows the video in a thumbnail-sized view. It gets annoying especially when I need to pause and replay multiple times. When I want to fast forward/backward a video, I also have to scroll the progress bar in a thumbnail-sized view, which is too small and hence difficult sometimes. Thus, it'd be simpler and easier if it stays in fullscreen view. Another thing, when a video finishes, it automatically plays the next one in line. There should be an option to turn that autoplay off.
Will not let me create a profile
I tried on more than one device to create a profile for this app. Went through the whole process of picking the channels I wanted to see (by the "n"th time I did it, I knew where all of them were). Each time, I get to the final step, put in all the info, get all the check marks, and hit done... Done... Done... Done... The darn thing won't go further than that. To say the least I'm deleting this glitchy app as soon as I post this review. Obviously don't waste your time or wifi downloading this.
