Shut Up spares you from Internet troglodytes by hiding all comment sections when browsing the web in Safari. You can even set your favorite websites to show comments by default.
That's it. Simple and free. Enjoy!

This release adds support for this year's new iPad lineup, and updates internal libraries for better compatibility with iOS 12.
Ratings and Reviews
Great app! For some reason I had to install twice before it worked, but now it does exactly what I want it to. Puts the kibosh on the soul-crushing cavalcade of idiocy and sociopathic mendacity that afflicts Internet web site commentary. Bliss.
I can’t look at the internet without this
I am so very grateful for this absolutely necessary app. I can add sites to my whitelist, the rest vanish and I don’t miss the endless blather. Thank you for this.
For some reason I can’t turn it on in my app settings for safari. I’ll keep trying until it works- I’m so excited to block comments!
Developer Response ,
This can happen if your device has restrictions (or parental controls) enabled for web content. It’s a weird iOS issue that Apple hasn’t yet addressed.
If you’re able to disable the restrictions temporarily, you can turn on Shut Up as instructed, then you can turn the content restrictions back on and everything should work as intended.
Hope this helps!
