  Shuttersong now offers one to one private messaging. Tap the inbox icon in the upper right corner of the screen and read messages you’ve been sent or start a new message. Use Shuttersongs with music or voice or text alone. If you’re sending a message add a mood so your friend will see how you’re feeling. Shuttersongs in messages don’t show up in your profile even if your account isn’t private.

  • Search On Hashtags: You can now search on hashtags and use them within comments and captions.
  
  • Easier Existing Photo Selection: You can see your camera roll inside the app so changing to a different photo is easy. Then choose music or voice recording with a single tap.
  
  • New Shuttersong Camera: Click to take a new photo then press and hold the record button to capture voice. If you prefer to use music, you can switch in one tap.
  
  • Precise Music Editing: Set how long you want the music to play, and where in the song to begin in one second increments with easy to set dials. Preview it with the play button and change if necessary.
  
  • Preview Voice Recording: You can listen to your voice recording and record it again if you want to.

  • Shuttersong now has a social network. Anyone can join. You can just find and enjoy Shuttersongs, or to make your own to share with friends.
  
  • The app was redesigned to seamlessly integrate social features with Shuttersong creation.
  
  • Shuttersongs now have captions that can contain text, emojis and even clickable URLs (for example link to your YouTube channel, iTunes page, Twitter page, blog or website).
  
  • You can choose a unique user name and complete a profile with a picture, bio and personal web link to help you get followers.
  
  • Find people to follow from the public community, or by searching for friends already on the Shuttersong network.
  
  • Invite friends to join so they can see the Shuttersongs that you’ve made.
  
  • You can write comments on Shuttersongs in your feed or in the community. They can include emojis, text and hashtags.
  
  • When you play a Shuttersong that has music, we can tell you the song title, artist and album that was used.
