Better than uber and Lyft when available
I love sidecar. I love that they show you your driver options ahead of time with the time estimate and price. Very upfront about everything. These drivers also make up their own prices, so there are no surges unlike uber and lyft. The only downside to sidecar is that there aren't enough drivers. When there are it's great. Plus the shared rides being only $3 or less is awesome. They don't do that all the time but very often. Only once have a I had a bad driver. He brought his wife in his tiny car when there were four of us to pick up and only three seats, and preached about his religion which was a sensitive topic. Anyway, it's overall my favorite ride sharing app.
cheapest rideshare around, but app could use some work
Sidecar is amazing because you can see how much your ride will be in advance, so there are no surprises.
On a technical level, the app could use some work. You have to continuously manually refresh it to see what drivers are available, and you can't add a driver as your favorite if you forgot to when you paid.
Let's you choose your price before you get a ride!!!
Sidecar seems to be a great deal and no surprises, since they let you pick a price and u pick how long til they get to you.
