Learning a new song? Hard intervals? Weird notes? Hard runs? The SightSing app for choral learning shows you the music, plays the notes, keeps time and even tells you if the note is correct. Start at the beginning or any measure that you want. Adjust the tempo to go slow at first, then speed it up as you learn it. Turn off the lyrics as you memorize the piece.

Let us know about songs you'd like to have through the in-app song request.

App does not do anything at first

Ariel J. Transparentpseudonym

The first time I opened it, the “Play local songs” and “Browse song store” buttons both led to blank screens. It worked fine after a bit.

Just what I needed

I recently had to learn Vivaldi's GLORIA and then brush up on the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's MESSIAH. I travel for business, so it could not attend all of the rehearsals for the choir. This app helped close the gap. Kudos! I recommend this app without reservation.

Aaaaand FREEZE!!

This is a pretty good app to practice with if it wouldn't freeze and kick you out every 60 seconds.
It would also be helpful if you could make one of the parts louder than another.
You also have to pay for every song you want to practice.
Good idea for an app, but the execution needs a little work.
