Simple Repeat Timer
By Alberto Hung
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
A few months ago I had my right arm injured. The doctor recommended several exercises as part of the treatment. They were like "do this for 15 seconds, 10 times". And quite often I got distracted and lost the count.
What a iOS developer can do? Write an app, of course! So here you are: an app for repetitive, timed activities.
What's New in Version 2.1
- Fixed an incompatibility with iOS 9 that made the previous version unusable on iPad
- watchOS 2 support! Now it works independently from the iPhone.
Great little app
This app is great for what it is designed for. A very simple, easy to use app that allows one to do a repetitive task in time intervals. Too many apps are bloated and not easy to use. This one does exactly what I needed. I have only used it on an iPhone however and not had an experience using it with a watch or iPad.
I downloaded this to set a repeating timer on my Apple Watch. Like another user said, every time your watch face turns off, the timer resets and starts over the next time you look at your watch. The phone app doesn't run in the background, so if you switch to a different app or your phone sleeps, the timer will stop.
My hope is this review is the one that finally allows Apple to show the average rating.
The watch version has this weird issue where it resets when you move. Wrote the developer, never heard back.
The phone version doesn't vibrate if you have sounds off and it doesn't have a different sound when the set is over so you only realize you're done when the next set doesn't start.
Apparently the developer never did a set of anything to know how the app should work.
Why is it so hard to find a simple interval timer app??
