Ever heard someone claim Global Warming isn't happening? Did their explanation seem wrong but you didn't know why?
Skeptical Science helps you find out what the peer reviewed science has to say about global warming. The easy navigation by skeptical argument allows you to take a statement and find out for yourself whether it is based on credible science or not.
Skeptical Science allows you to:
- learn more about the science of global warming
- respond to statements by skeptics with hard science
Skeptical Science also allows you to report when you have heard a particular skeptical argument. Your information is used to keep track of what arguments are 'flaring up' all across the world.

Automatic update ruins app
I would love to give this app a five star review, but there is an automatic update on it that totally ruins the app. The first time realized this, months ago, I chose to email Skeptical Science directly to let them know what was happening. Now that I see the problem still exists, my only hope is that by writing this review someone will finally do something to fix this.
What happens is, right after initially installing and opening the app, I'm a few minutes into reading an article and suddenly an automatic update occurs, and after it's completed, it goes back to the article I was reading, but his time the size of the print and of the page is too large for me to see it all on the screen. No matter what I do, I can't make it so it will all fit on the screen, making it extremely frustrating to try to read. This update ALWAYS occurs within minutes of first use.
Please fix this!
Good information, broken presentation
I appreciate having the info in convenient location. The width problem on articles makes them mostly unreadable. I thought maybe running on an iPad would help; it's an iPhone only app, so the problem just scales to a bigger screen.
News items don't have the width problem. I'll read those and look for the talking points on the web page.
This App should be called “Skeptical ABOUT Science”
I’m happy I didn’t actually pay any real money for this app. It’s just a tired rehash of the same mangled disinformation that has been around forever. Faulty data and no real connection with science. Real science invites criticism and debate. In order to prove a hypothesis or hunch you need to put forth an honest attempt to disprove it. It ain’t here folks. Try “Our Climate” it provides some solid facts that you can use to form an honest opinion about this issue.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
