• This version runs on OSX 10.9
Great, but problems with windows.
Sketchbook Pro is the best program I’ve used for drawing so far. However, I find it irritating that I can only have one window open at a time. If I make a new file, a new window should be made as well, instead of having the new file take over the window I'm working in. I love how I can quickly change the color and size of my brush with the pucks, but they aren’t perfect either. If I try to adjust the window, the pucks move, and I can’t drag them out of the window. I don’t want them over my canvas, but I still need them to be available. Another strange thing about Sketchbook is whenever I click outside of Sketchbook the window disappears. The toolbar and the color palette are gone, too. I have to click on the icon on the dock to get it all back.
Overall, Sketchbook is what I expect in a drawing program, and It works best with my tablet, but I don’t like having everything in one window that vanishes when I click away.
Good App But It Has a Few Bugs
After about an hour of use the app will crash and requires frequent project saving. Some of the tool boxes will not move across the screen and are frozen in place, which is kind of annoying. Please fix this!
Other than that the app has all of the drawing tools you would need, and it comes in pretty handy. I like this better than Photoshop. I use it to create all the design work on my art website. Great tool that I would recommend.
I want to love this applications but bugs need fixed, features added
1) after moving a selection and deselecting the imaging moves one pixel up and one to the right
2) after sleeping my laptop and taking it off my large monitor there is ofter a model dialog off screen. pallets are drawn incorrectly also at this point.
1) needs to support multiple windows
2) needs a nudge feature (move selection one pixel with arrow keys)
3) need to be able to draw a shape with a fill color
4) in place text editing would be nice
