[5/5] "Great! - Love everything about this game. The graphics are excellent, the controls easy to use, and best of all, it's endlessly fun!"

[5/5] "How can you go wrong ! - This game is smooth as a sheet of ice !! Love it"

Welcome to Ski Safari!

Ski Safari is where Animals, Avalanches and Action come together to create a new casual gameplay experience.

Our deep sleeping hero has to stay ahead of a relentless avalanche that threatens the local mountainsides. Sven, as we like to call him, can use animals to aid his escape from an icey end. Each of the hillside animals have different attributes to make a speedier escape. Penguins glide further, Yetis are tougher, Eagles soar to great heights, each of these can provide useful advantage for Sven. Sometimes on the slopes Sven can find fast Snowmobiles which can ferry multiple animals a maintain a very high top speed.

Staying ahead of the avalanche has its advantages and perks. Completing objectives can 'level up' Sven and increase his score multiplier. Riding animals, performing backflips add to the score and with an increased score multiplier Sven will rocketing up the highscore table with ease.

Customer Reviews

Enjoyable game, but frustrated

To begin, the game is certainly worth the price, so nothing in this review is meant to bring that into question.
My current frustration is that the developers have stopped patching glitches/adding new content to work on Ski Safari 2, so at least one of the challenges cannot be completed (attaching silver sled to rocket) and the dino level has been "coming" for a long long time. In addition, some of the challenges may seem a little glitchy (you can't get llama on sled without removing the sled power up of wings). I would write through the game, but these are things brought up on a number of online boards and things the developers have acknowledged.
Anyways, I highly appreciate the game as a whole, but I would appreciate that any glitches be fixed. I would be more likely to buy new content from this developer if I felt like their previous applications were complete.

Not terrible, but not what as it originally seems.

Like many iOS titles, Ski Madness has a very instant pull, with a clever remodeling of the typical score-building platform. It's simple, but it is very enjoyable at first.

The game (like nearly every App on the App Store) has in-app purchase options. What is admirable about this game is it doesn't push them in your face constantly, and even if you did decided to go with them, they're very reasonably priced.

The problem I have with this game is that it does absolutely nothing for the long-term. It's a basic score-grinding game in the realm of Temple Run, and I'm so sick of this genre because that is all the App Store is becoming full of. The game isn't bad as I said, just uninteresting. I think a 3 out of 5 is pretty generous for this game.

Warning.

At first I thought that ski safari was entirely fun. I would play on penguin peaks and eagle buffs and have fun. After a while however, I started locking myself in the bathroom to play. I spent many dollars on it buying panda pass and soon the Santa Claus slope. I tell people it is because I want to meet pandas. If someone is crying around me, I will finish my game first. I got a friend obsessed and now when we hang out we have competitions. I have played it enough to memorize the variations in the games and play in my mind. With score. I imagine that I am playing ski safari in real life, even when actually skiing which resulted in an injury. Be warned.
