Assemble famous masterpieces with Skrambler, a jigsaw puzzle mindware for the iPad. Learn interesting facts about artists and their artwork while putting each piece in its place.
Unlike a traditional jigsaw puzzle, Skrambler is tailor-made for the iPad. Swap tile pieces to reveal the scrambled paintings of masters including Seurat, Van Eyck, Degas, Rembrandt, and da Vinci. Tiles and play area are visible at all times, making it easy to visualize the entire puzzle without the need for scrolling. Various tools are also provided to help put images together. The game’s Imaging Scope shows a portion of the painting, while its Jolt allows difficult tiles to be pushed into their correct slots. Both tools require energy for use; energy that is gained when correct tile placements are made.
A game designed specifically for quick play, its UI is streamlined with no long load screens. Progress is saved automatically when the game is quit so that play begins exactly were it was when left.

Terribly addictive, but in a good way
I loved this app! Not only are the graphics extremely enjoyable (of course, since they're famous works of art), but the interface is great. I even liked the little sounds the pieces make when you get them in the right place. I did have one puzzle hang up on me a few times, but have had no further issues since the latest update.
Like many other commenters here, I am now waiting anxiously for more content --not because I feel as if I didn't get my money's worth with the puzzles already in this pack, but because I want more! More!
please please more paintings!
This is without a doubt my favorite app on the iPad. For anyone interested in expanding their visual ability/acuity, this app will do it, at least in the area of painting and drawing. Plus, they are great jigsaw puzzles!
You learn about texture, tone, value, perspective, everything! Every time you do a painting again, you see even more. But I'm about to do Dogs Playing Poker for the 9th time, and I think perhaps I need more content. I don't know what process is involved in making the puzzles, but if it isn't super-difficult, I would be glad to volunteer my assistance.
A fanstastic app!
Great App but no new puzzles - try Art Scrambles instead
Like many reviewers, I have loved this app and have been disappointed that the developer never made more puzzles available (was disapointed that I never even got an email back too). Well, wait no more... there's a new app that's as pretty as this one, with many more puzzle packages discover. Search for Art Scrambles. I have already contacted the maker of Art Scrambles for a specific set of my fave artist and got emailed back immediately.
