What's New in Version 6.15.1
General and performance improvements
One of the most in dispensable apps on my main start screen
Next to Outlook, Skype for business is one of the most used applications and services on my phone and my tablet. The performance of the application is very robust now and I've seen improvements release over release. I do run to the occasional challenge when moving from a Wi-Fi network to the cellular network to maintain a call, but I'm guessing that has more to do with the network management stack than it does with the application. Instant messaging works very well in a corporate environment.
User Interface can be better. Its difficult to manage multiple back to back meetings and repeated meetings like scrum. Like both today and tomorrows scrum show up together in the upcoming meeting list and its hard to figure out which is which. I have many times connected to wrong ones and waited for 10 mins for anyone else to show up only to find I connected on tomorrows scrum.
Call quality is good and stays stable when moving from network to network
Using this for international conferencing and business calls, the sound quality is continually exceptional.
Update: in addition to Skype for Business, I use Viber and Whatsapp. Skype communucation is superior.
