I love this alarm. I use it every night. I wake up refreshed every morning. It detects your body movement and finds the shallowest point of the sleep cycle near the set alarm time within the time interval you set, say 30 min, 15 min, etc. Since it finds the point when you are at the shallowest or almost awake point, when it wakes you up, you are awake and not groggy. Since we all go through deep-shallow cycle throughout the night, I can find the shallow point in your sleep no matter how long you you plan to sleep, 7 hours, 5 hours, or even 3 hours. It is easy to set. Set the alarm time, interval of how long you want the program to search for the most desirable wake-up time (0-30 min), snooze time interval (ex. 9 min), what tone or music you want to wake up to. You can also play different soundscape or your favorite music to fall sleep in ( in the full app only). Nice thing is that you don't have to worry about how your iPhone's sound is set. Even if your iPhone is in the silent mode, it will play the alarm setting you set within the program. After each night you use this app, you can view the color coded graph to have a complete glance at how well you slept (REM, shallow, awake, etc). Gives you a sleep efficiency score. It's right on your phone, so you don't have to carry another alarm device. I do recommend to connect your iPhone to the charger while you use this app overnight. You set it on your bed, so make sure you have a long enough charging cable.
I am a huge fan of this app and have strongly encouraged others to use it. I started out with the free version, but really wanted be benefit of tracking my sleep over a longer period of time than just a week, which the paid version offers. I find that I feel it is fairly close to accurate, as the sleep efficiency score often lines right up with my experience of my night and I can use that to reflect on things I can change in order to improve my sleep hygiene. Additionally, the alarm feature world great although it's usually fighting against my nature to force myself to continue to sleep, which always turns out to be a bad idea. If it's waking you up before the alarm time, just get up! You will feel better the rest of the day for it, I promise. The sounds in the app are great. Of course I always want more, but it didn't cost much and I'm happy with what I have and that it syncs up with my argus app for exercise tracking and so on.
Just Keeps Getting Better!!!
I've been using this app for over a year & it continues to be improved. The main things that I love about it is that the alarm wakes me up at a better time in my sleep cycle which has made it easier to get out of bed in the mornings... Which I find invaluable as a most incurable night owl!!! 😆
I also love the easy snooze function. On mornings that I can afford a little bit longer in bed, it's nice to only have to lift up my phone to activate my snooze function. It's also nice to be able to set the length of the snooze alarm.
I love this app so much that I use every night, even on days that I don't have to be up at any certain time. I recommend it all the time to people. Thanks Azumio! Keep up the good work! I also love your Argus app.
