Unresponsive customer support
I've give zero stars if I could. Sleepbot staff does not respond to support request emails at all. Quite unacceptable this day & age. I've sent two emails in early and mid June to the email they publish on their Web site for support, and I didn't even receive an acknowledgment. The quality of the app is also poor. It is inconsistent in recording sleep patterns and sounds--some nights it does, others, it doesn't even when you set things up identically every night. It also prompts the Volume dialog box to come up every time the alarm rings (I'm on an iPhone7) and when it does, the password screen to my iPhone comes up simultaneously. No other alarm app I own has ever done this and it's extremely frustrating because it ruins having a smooth wake up. The volume dialogue box covers the password entry screen and you have to wait a few minutes until Sleepbot raises the volume gradually to the max, and disappears on its own, to unlock your phone while the alarm buzzes louder and louder--so this frustrating dynamic defeats the purpose of the Snooze button, i.e., it wakes you up and frustrates you when you can't press Snooze OR Stop it either way. I stopped using it's alarm feature a while ago. The app has been a real disappointment over time, and with a completely unresponsive customer support responding to my questions, then it discredits the app even more and more as time goes by. Pitiful performance.
Best sleep app!!
I've tried/paid allot of sleep apps including my Fitbit watch. SleepBot is by far the best one and it's FREE!!
I like that it can record movement and sound at the same time! It's easy to select what you want to record or record nothing at all! If you follow the instructions and place your device next to your head and shoulders it will pick up your sound and movement (options to choose the sensitivity of both movement and sound) even though there are others sharing your space (partner, dog(s), children etc.
I like that I can see my sleep trends and also a graphs button that breaks down all the trends individually (sleep, wake, pattern, trend, length)
The app is well thought out. It has a resources to stay awake, sleep and general FAQ all found under the "help" tab on the bottom tool bar on the app.
Smart alarm works well too. It works even if you have movement recording off.
Creators of the app highly suggest you plug in your device before you start the app to conserve battery as the recording portion can zap your battery.
My tip: if you don't have an electric outlet close
to your bed or if your cord is not long enough. Purchase a power bank (Goal Zero Flip 10 or 20) or other power bank then your device can be charging all night and you can record your sleep!
Try this app out!
Cheers and Goodnight 🌙😴

Ok sleep diary, but numerous bugs.
There are quite a few positives in this app, such as the gradual wake/smart alarm. The "Robots in Love" alarm is unique enough to wake me without startling me or annoying me after a couple snoozes. The log shows nice graphs for when and how long I've *claimed* to sleep, and trends over the last few days.
However, as many people have reported, there are some drawbacks. The sound and motion recordings and measurements are not consistent, the unpredictable interference between the App and the iPhone screen lock often make snoozing more complicated than a simple button (though that may be by design, but I doubt it), and while I've experienced no crashes, trying to close an graph or recording log always requires multiple taps to back out.
Overall, I'd recommend the app if you're just tracking when you go to bed and wake up like a sleep diary. For actual tracking of sleep quality, there are other, more accurate and higher resolution noise and motion analysis apps out there.
