Discover SleepIQ® technology.
Only Available with Sleep Number® beds.

OVERVIEW

SleepIQ® uses intelligent biometrics to provide a daily score based upon your personal goals and sleep patterns.

Sleep: See last night’s metrics, including SleepIQ® score, SLEEP NUMBER® setting, biometrics, and sleep times at a glance. A summary statement provides context to what your metrics mean.
If you’d like to remove a night from your view, “Remove Sleep Session” allows a sleeper to remove a night and its associated data. The data associated with that night is not included in averages or totals for a month, unless you choose to restore the session later. This allows for elimination of anomalies of exceptionally low or high scores that might impact your overall SleepIQ average.

Insights: Insights puts your SleepIQ® score in context, giving you the chance to see how activities and inputs (like coffee or exercise) affect your sleep. It allows you to see your sleep in comparison to your partner, other people in your age range and gender (“Like Me”) and other people who live in your area (“Near Me”), both in monthly and historical views (the length of time you’ve been using SleepIQ).

Bed Controls: SleepIQ® makes controlling your SLEEP NUMBER® bed simple – no remote necessary. Use the guided experience to find your SLEEP NUMBER® setting  Choose a position preset for your FlexFit™ adjustable base, or use the up/down arrows to make adjustments. Control items like Underbed Light from Accessories, and easily access Routines

Routines: Edit routines and add routines for different nights of the week, so you can adjust your sleep to your individual schedule. Note: If you get into bed before your stated bedtime, Routines will not work.

New and not so much improved

Zouzou216

Overall, the app is fine, although sometimes a little laggy. The one thing that’s definitely disappointing about this update is the shortened time for foot warming. It used to default to 10 hours, which would keep my feet toasty for the entire night, but now it’s max 6 hours, so I guess I’ll be waking up with cold feet. Please bring back the longer warming period! 🙏🏻

Update: I reached out to the developer per the comment on my review back in December. About a week after my email, someone replied saying, “We will look at this ASAP.” Needless to say, I’ve received no further communication, and the foot warmers still kick off after 6 hours. Sleep number’s solution was so send an electric blanket that would stay on for a longer time period, but it’s big, bulky, and really not very attractive, so it’s still in the bag in my closet. I’m not sure why the developer bothers to ask people to contact them if they are offering no solution to the issues people are complaining about.

Developer Response

Thank you for your recent review of the SleepIQ® application. We will share your suggestions for improvements for foot warming with the SleepIQ product development team. Sincerely, The SleepIQ® Team

Promotional BS vs reality

Ron O

This app functions (barely) as a remote to control bed position and sleep number settings, although there are frequent issues even within that limited functionality. For example, sometimes the bed will inexplicably raise or lower both sides even though only one sleeper wants to change position.

More problematic is that the app is touted in SleepNumber’s stores and promotional material as having functionality that just isn’t there. For example, “You can edit the time you fell asleep or got out of bed....Simply tap Edit...” Actually, no you can’t, because that Edit button does nothing but briefly — and uselessly — display a notice saying “Finalizing sleep session.”

Do us a favor, developers, don’t reply to my comment with your standard empty “contact us” response. Instead, recognize that your userbase knows they’ve been lied to, knows you’ve got a crap product, and feels they’ve been sold a Very Expensive bed in part based on promises of tech that you just aren’t delivering on. Get that into your heads, and Fix. The. App.

Works great!! i10 Model

BildoBear

My wife and I purchased an i10 with a FlexFit 2 base and chose not to purchase a remote with the bed. We are pretty techie people and decided we wanted to use the app instead. I was super worried because of all the reviews of the app, and honestly I have no idea what people are complaining about. Every aspect of the app works fine. We’ve had no issues controlling the bed. I’m not sure about the sleep iQ portion, but as a controller it works great. Very responsive. The only pop up we have ever gotten has been about using the cloud, which we know better than to use that instead of the local wireless connection. We simply pressed the “don’t show this message again” button, and it never popped up again. If you have or are getting an i10, trust the app.. it really works great!
