Slickdeals is the largest deal-sharing community on the Web with millions of people regularly using the Slickdeals app to discover, share, rate and shop the best deals and coupons for their favorite stores. We know when Kohl's has 30% off, if Walmart is price matching Amazon, and when Groupon has your favorite restaurant deal. If there’s a deal, coupon, rebate, promo or freebie out there, we have it on the Frontpage.
There are people in this world who pay full price and there are people who don’t. After you download this app, you'll never pay full price again.
How it works:
Our community members find deals around the Web and share it on our forums. Every deal gets vetted by the community through votes and comments, and the good ones move up to the Popular Deals forum. If you want to beat the rush and increase your odds of snagging a great deal before it reaches the masses, the Popular Deals forum is the place to be.
The best Popular Deals are screened by our Deal Editors after getting enough votes to be considered for the Frontpage. If the deal is as good as it seems, it will graduate to the Frontpage, which features the best of the best on any given day.
If you prefer a more hands-off approach to finding great deals, set a Deal Alert and get notified whenever a deal matching what you're looking for is posted on Slickdeals. You can configure your alert for keywords, stores and categories. You decide how and when you want to get notified, but remember, the best deals usually don't last long.
If you've already filled up your online shopping cart and want to see if there's a last chance to save some money, check out our coupons pages. We have coupons for every store that offers them and our in-house team of coupon editors are quick to remove expired promo codes so you don't waste your time.
If you like browsing deals by category, this is the app for you. If you want to look at only video game deals or see what household items that are on sale, for example, check out our category pages!

Ratings and Reviews
The app is ok, but has some major flaws. For example, there is no way to select multiple posts to reply to as there is on the desktop site, so you have to post a separate reply to each person. Unfortunately, the search works exactly as it does on the desktop site, which is to say it works very poorly. The most disapponting and disingenuous thing about both the app and the site, however, is that many of the "deals" are simply the result of companies that have paid Slickdeals for placement on their site. Moreover, the posting of legitimate deals by certain competitors - or even the very mention of these competitors - is blocked by filters and will earn one a ban if filter circumvention intentionally or even accidentally occurs. Thus, one has to be extra cautious to review the merits of each "deal" to ensure it's legit. Don't go based on Frontpage placement or the number of upvotes as these are manipulated by the staff for certain merchants.
Alerts are broken for me
UPDATE: The developer got back to me, apparently you get front page deal alerts by default. I was looking at the alerts I set up to turn them off but you have to turn them off in your settings.
Not sure what's going on with this. I got the app so I could be alerted to deals for a few specific things. I set up alerts for those items but I get bombarded with alerts all day for random things. It's so intrusive and it seems to be either all alerts or none. I'm choosing none and uninstalling the app.
Otherwise works great as an alternative to the site but what's the point if the alerts don't work, I'll just check the site when I can.

We're sorry to hear that you've been receiving too many notifications. You can reduce or turn off the number of Frontpage Notifications you can receive by going into your settings. You can access it by going to Profile (in the lower right corner) and then clicking the cog icon to the right of the search bar. This will take you to the Settings page, and there is a Notification Settings section you can modify.
Fix the Back arrow in the BF section!!!
Update: Devs listened to my bug complaint and fixed the issue i mentioned below. The app is once again usable and reliable, and it’s one of the only BF apps that allow me to set up my list for BF on my iPad, and have that list sync up with the app on my phone without having to re-enter the list. Updated review to 5 stars now! Great job!

Once you get into an add scan in the BF section, the back arrow doesn’t work to get back the main BF page. You need to exit the entire BF section completely and come back in. Also, if you click down to an item from an ad, to add it to your list, you can’t exit back to the ad scan via the back arrow there too. All the back arrows are broken in the BF section. Please fix this ASAP, otherwise, this section of the app is useless.
Response: No. Back arrows and links stop working. The only way to correct it is to kill the app from memory, and restart it. When you do that, it works one time, but when you try a second time, it stops working again.
