Fun but controls can make it frustrating
It’s easy to understand the rules, but the way the game is right now (29 sept 18) it can be difficult to play. It’s strange that I can’t move blocks while rows are being destroyed, and when I am able to move them, I have to do so with a strange amount of precision or else I am unable to move the blocks.
I’m unsure of the dev team’s next move for the game, but I would also love to be able to have different modes such as a relaxed mode, or an easy/medium/hard mode where the speed of the blocks start off slower or faster depending on the difficulty level.
Regardless, the art style is fun and quirky in a way that is delightful and charming and I look forward to how the game continues to develop.
EDIT 2OCT18: I think I understand the problem more clearly now. It’s the lack of instructions that made the game seem difficult or frustrating, not necessarily the gameplay itself. It wasn’t made clear that the rows only move up once you move a block, so the speed of rows appearing made the gameplay seem random and disorganized.
While I understand that there’s a trend towards minimal design and instruction, there’s a line between minimal and vague. I believe that once the instructions are made clearer, that will help other players understand and enjoy the game more.
Part 2, an EDIT from previous review of being disappointed and losing my over a million high score
Edit*** in my previous review (the super long one about being disappointed and losing my high score of 1,470,632) the reason why it was weird when the colored power ups disappeared while the electric ones appeared where because I purchased, with the diamonds, the colored ones but didn't purchase any of the electric power ups at all. It was a complete switch and after that the colored and the hammer powers up were both locked stating “Booster currently locked. As you play and earn experience it will be unlocked.” Which was funny because I was level 28, with a high score of 1,470,632 at that moment and it could have been higher by now if it didn’t glitch but you know...whatever...but yeah, it was acting like I was just playing for the first time ever...it was strange. Again, I should have purposely lost to have my high school save but 1) how do I know it would have saved either way and 2) I’m not a fortune teller even if I knew it was glitching how was I supposed to know THAT would happen. Again, just really disappointed and upset is all. That is all. Just wanted to mention that.

Ads take longer than gameplay
I agree with the review by The Alex Leung. The artstyle and gameplay is super fun and cute but I think it’s crazy that 6 rows will spawn at once and your blocks are immediately eaten/you lose when you can’t slide while the rows move up.
I went to check settings if my game was set to Hard mode or something since it was like that from the get go right after the tutorial.
I love the art and concept but I feel like there should be a gradual increase to that point. I get that you need to make revenue with ads off a free game so why not make the levels playable for longer so that one super long ad won’t feel as harsh. Currently I’m playing levels for like 30 sec and then a 60 sec ad pops up, which makes me feel like it’s a waste of my time. I’d love to be able to play the game for longer and kind of mindlessly to be honest, without getting super frustrated at ads.
