WORST tv watching EVER! The ads!!!
First off, really people? As long as humans have been developing apps you wouldn't think you'd encounter a service like Sling using an app that's so backward and unintuitive. I wasn't using it for a half hour before it crashed even, and this isn't a brand new app either. It's nearly two years old and with 10 updates. Hulu's app is SO much more intuitive and user friendly it's like night and day. It's a great concept but an extremely poor execution. Extremely poor.
But the WORST part is the ads!!! Omg! Ad after ad after ad one right after the other!! Count 'em 9 in a row!!! Come on maybe 3 or 4 but 9???? Then you get to watch 10 more min of the show and more ads!!! Then 5 min of show and more ads!!! Then literally 3 min of show and what? More ads!!! This is the worst tv watching experience EVER!!!! I would have never believed a service would think they could charge what might seem to be a reasonable price and then screw it to absolute death with more ads than you could ever believe possible! Really, who would want to waste their precious time and money on a scam like this??
Ok but needs improvement.
I like that you can add or subtract channels and cancel as needed. Need local channels and there are quite a few channels I will never use because they are garbage channels. Needs improvement with the guide, it's just crappy and hard to find something on. It needs a more handy guide to pop up while you are watching something, not over what you are watching. It needs PIP, so I can still watch while I surf the net or play a game (iPad), And why can't more than one person watch at a time, really inconvenient for a family of 4 who own 10 devices. Someone goes on it and it says it is already in use. Quality is great with wifi and I like the on demand feature. I love that I can watch sports since we cut the cord many months ago. Is a great platform and with some updates, it will be even better.

Good thing I found out that their iOS service doesn't work at all before I got out of my free trial. Definitely will not be subscribing. Apparently there was an update a week ago that made the app completely nonfunctional. For me it won't even login just stuck at a "take back tv" splash screen and never loading. Sorry but if you do something as a company where you completely BREAK your service, you get it fixed, work OT whatever to get it up and running again. A week of no service is unacceptable. Like I said these guys aren't getting a dime from me now and good thing I found it doesn't work before I got scammed out of $20.
