Export is un-usable

Exported content is in the lower 1/4th corner of the bounds of the exported gif. I can’t use it.

You Get What You Pay For (Mostly)

This is a really simple little app that is refreshingly easy to use. You can figure it out in seconds.

Unfortunately, it lacks some very basic features. For instance, you cannot insert frames into a sequence. If you screw up or want to change something — start over! Also, the duration of each frame cannot be set. There is one duration for all frames. This is not good. You might be able to get around this to some extent by doubling up on images you want to keep visible longer, but that would get to be a real pain, and slow.

Once upon a time, GifBuilder was the perfect fast, simple way to make animated gifs and banners. Why can’t somebody just update that? Snif.

Developer Response

Hey! You can insert images into a sequence, either by selecting a frame and adding a new frame (Will insert an empty frame after the selected one), or by dragging an image from Finder to a certain location in the interface. :-)

So the code is 12345

not smart enough

No option to re-size or change quality.
Preview doesn’t show the frame duration that I input.
