As you add video files to your Mac, Smart Player automatically adds them to its library. The app recognises movies, TV shows and home videos, and groups them for you.

Where has Smart Player been all my life?
Smart Player has truly broken new grounds as a media player. I love how it shows me descriptions of video files along with the cover art and metadata; a nice little touch! It's also very thoughtful of grouping my video files into genres so that my films don't get mixed up with my home videos. Love the player guys keep up the good work!
Easy to use
The free version works well. I've only tried it a couple of times, but picture quality is great. I don't know that the upgraded version is worth $0.99/month, for me, but it's to other subscribers to decide for themselves.
