Smile - Dental Hygiene Analysis

By Claymont Inc.

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

Description

In an effort to educate the general public on dental hygiene, a pre-dental student created the concept of Smile.

The yellowing of teeth is natural, but it can be so frustrating. Discoloration is often the product of poor brushing habits. You may be brushing your teeth the recommended 2 minutes, twice daily, yet you still notice staining after time.

The question becomes how well are you actually brushing?
This is where Smile comes into play.

Smile uses the camera function to highlight the beginning of tooth discoloration and tartar development that cannot be easily seen with your naked eye.

With the “Save for Progress” feature, users can track personal dental hygiene over time.

Consistent use of Smile is sure to be a helpful indicator, of a healthier and brighter smile.

This is too awesome, helps for good oral hygiene

This is great, it shows that I have a lot stain on my teeth, well being a coffee drinker, I don't smoke, thank god. This also helps that it's time for me to get a professional dental cleaning by my Dental Hygienist, which I already made an appointment to have my teeth cleaned in September, I do brush and floss my teeth 3 times day and use mouthwash like ACT anti cavity rinse. Do me a favor everyone, yes brush your teeth and floss for good home oral hygiene but most important is to visit you Dental Hygienist for a dental cleaning at your Dentist office. If it's been 6 months or longer since you been to the dentist, make that appointment. Thank You like hear your story. Keep smiling!

It's ok

This app is an ok app. It helped me with knowing how much plaque is on my teeth. On the other hand when I go to use it taking the picture is very hard and when I save it in my progress report it switches the colors it says that first green is slight and blue is heavy but then when you save it it changes and says green is heavy and blue is slight. Good intentions but really confusing

Genius

Wow...what a great way for me to stay focused on maintaining proper dental hygiene and keep track of my progress. This is one of those apps that's a must-have. Clear instructions and easy to use design. It's a life changer
