New app user
I'm still new at using this app, but so far it's pretty nice. The concept is brilliant, and I got the app to connect with other moms with babies of a similar age. I've received a few friend requests and have already gotten some good advice on the sort of "Facebook wall" area.
Overall the apps functionality is simple, as there are (as of August 2015) very few app designs for this exact concept. I would appreciate an easier way to get from the notifications you get on your phone (of,say, a friend request for instance) to opening up the app and seeing that exact notification. It's not as smooth as doing that on other apps. But overall I'm happy with it!
Smile Mom = Bye Mom
MATURE MOMS BEWARE!!! This is supposed to be an app where you can befriend other moms. Seriously, you'd be lucky to find one mom worthy of befriending. I've tried this twice and both times the flood of the nasty, bullying moms made me delete my profile and the app. The immaturity level of most of these "moms" is ridiculously low!! There are cliques just like in high school and they really bring the site down. to No one from Smile Mom moderates the posts and security is a big issue. People have had pics stolen and used on other sites. I deactivated my account and deleted the app. I would caution anyone considering joining this online "community".
Love it But...
I love this app! I love that is an app for moms to meet or talk to other moms. We give each other tips, share pictures and achievements. But, I don't like that there are men on the page. I've had some men friend request me. I thought the app was just for moms...if they wanted to include dads they should've changed the title and purpose of the app.
