Just as we eat well and stay fit to keep our body healthy, meditation is about mental health and looking after the mind.

Smiling Mind is a not-for-profit organisation that works to make mindfulness meditation accessible to all.

Our vision is to see mindfulness meditation on the Australian National Curriculum by 2020.

Our mission is to provide accessible, life-long tools based in mindfulness meditation.

This app really helps me be calm and relaxed. I love it! I do at least one every day, but it ends up being three! I hope that they make more soon, because I might run out of sessions!
Also, it is hard to believe that people did all this work without having to pay for anything! It was very difficult to find an app that was 100% free and this good!
A lot of people say "Well, why do they have to have a log in?" But it is honestly no work at all to make a login, especially if the app is so great! And what do you expect? To make the sub accounts and save your sessions better, it needs a login.



The other meditation/mindfulness apps all require a subscription/payment to use all the features. It is so wonderful to find a good app that has free access to all the content. As a college student I don’t have a lot of money to spend of subscriptions so this app is exactly what I’ve needed!

Smiling Mind has great exercises I use every day to practice meditation and mindfulness.

The app is easy to use, and most exercises are around 5 to 10 minutes. The exercises include various activities that promote meditation and being mindful...and just being.

A few quibbles: While the app's interface is easy to use, some of its aspects are uninteresting. A few exercises are +30 minutes.

Smiling Mind is free and easy to use. The program's exercises have improved how I think, feel and behave.
