What's New in Version 3.0
Earning points in the new program hasn’t changed, you’ll still earn 1 point per $0.01 spent. But now, you’ll be given flexibility on how you can use those rewards!
The new program rewards you faster with richer rewards: every 1,000 points = $1 off Smoothies! 2,000 points = $2 off Smoothies, 3,000 points = $3 off Smoothies…all the way through 6,000 points = Free Smoothie up to $6 off. You can pick any reward amount from $1-$6 off when you reach that point level. Once your points balance reaches 7,000 points your points will automatically convert into a Free Smoothie Healthy Reward, up to $7 off.

Gets worse each update
Points system is terrible. They some how managed to make it even worse. Greed has taken over can't even get a free smoothie anymore if it's over 6 dollars. Laughable. Why even bother anymore. App is slow, login system is dumb. If you hit reset password you have to again retype in entire email address. Not very user friendly like almost all iPhone apps are today.
The lines on location also aren't going down. Waited 17 minutes for my last smoothie. Very unprofessional people working at smoothie king. It's always high school or college kids. The first two times I went to the Daphne al location they got my order completely wrong. I actually had to stop and say "really?". Could be such an amazing product but bad corporate greed and bad management = bad experience. Even if the product is great the service isn't which makes me not want to go back.
Some steps for improvement. Follow Starbucks like point system. Follow Starbucks employee training. Follow Starbucks ability to repeat the order after you give it. Follow Starbucks and not jacking up my order twice in a row. More mature employees. High school kids will take minimum wage but devalue your customer service. An adult was on location when I went and I couldn't believe how bad the service was, terrible management.
I must agree with "gets worse each update". Found out after paying 9 dollars for a vanilla Greek yogurt smoothie- with protein powder because I was told rudely that was the only way I could get a vanilla smoothie-REALLY- that since we didn't show him the phone app before my husband paid we were SOL getting credit-points- on the app. I concur about rude, ill-trained staff. Who raised these disrespectful young people??? I had just installed the app and my SIM card was failing on my phone. The girl at the window grabbed my phone and treated me like a senile idiot when the phone wasn't opening the app. I've since had to replace the card. There's no excuse for that behavior. BTW I was doing computer/tech work when she was in diapers! I've bought a really nice (expensive) blender and since I can make any type smoothie I want (with no flak) I doubt Smoothie King will be seeing me! Too bad- I drink LOTS of smoothies.
App Support is Horrible!
App Support does not respond back within the specified time in there generic email template. I have contacted them via email and audio about the problem I am experiencing with their app. When I try to redeem my points towards my purchase, I get the message I do not have enough earned points to redeem towards the purchase. Contacting app support is a JOKE!!! They sent you a generic email template with a assigned ticket number. What good is that if there is no way to follow up with them via a live person! The 'Rewards' system is a great idea if it was working and supported by their tech support team!!!
At least be 'customer support' oriented to have someone contact the customer with a resolution to their problem with the app!!!
