Too many ads and inappropriate ones to boot!

Along with many other reviewers I actually enjoy this game a lot. I have fun playing it and so do my children. I even understand the need for ads especially when getting the free version but the amount of ads is ridiculous and there are occasionally ads for an app called "episodes" that I find extremely offensive and it makes me sick to know that my children come across ads for this stupid app. So I decided the bite the bullet and pay the $2.99 for the ad free version so I don't have to worry about my kids coming across such inappropriate things and come to find out it will only be "ad free" (which is still not fully ad free) on my device. Even though we all share the same cloud account across our devices it isn't ad free on their devices. I NEVER would have spent the money to get a sort of "ad free" version just for my device. I got it because I wanted my kids devices to have the ad free version to protect them from the disgusting commercials that come on occasionally amongst the millions or other ads that are constantly coming on every 10 seconds or less. VERY DISAPPOINTED and plan to try and get my money back and delete the app from all of our devices and plan on warning everyone the steer clear of this game. Again, the game is fun, it's the amount if ads and the dirtiness of some of those ads and the inability to use the ad free version with our couple of devices on our cloud account.

Very fun, but one or two issues

It didn't take long for me to become addicted to this game - extremely fun and a great pass time! The levels are constantly changing so you have a new experience every time, so it keeps you on your toes. Regarding the ads, I'm used to very ad-heavy games, so they tend not to bother me too much (unless I'm doing the challenges and am so bad I die every half second).

However, I have to admit two things bother me. While the ads are not a huge problem for me, they'll begin to lag up my game while playing. This will really screw up my reaction time and have led to a handful of untimely deaths. In addition, while the design of randomized block numbers keeps the game fresh and continuously re-playable, sometimes the omnipotent RNGesus is not kind to me and it will give an entire row of blocks far too great for me to get past, even if I had collected every extra ball beforehand. Perhaps tweaking the algorithm will help prevent that; I have no clue how any of that works but just a suggestion.

Overall, I really love this game and recommend it to anyone who has the free time to play an app or two!! If you lightened the ads to regulate its frame rate as well as making sure that the game's randomized numbers don't stack against the player's favor, I would have zero complaints!

shades the cat

Hey people that have read my reviews before... So here, snake vs blocks has a lot of potential in it! It seemed really fun but one thing hit me the first time I died, one thing in particular... at first it didn’t surprise me... but then OH THEN I realized that the ads were just way to much! Every 30 seconds (basically every time I die) I got another 30 second long ad that I sometimes could skip, and sometimes couldn’t if your going to add this many ads (no pun intended) then at least let the player have the option to skip ALL of them if he/she chooses too now I have seen lots of ads thrown in face, by lots I mean LOTS so.... when I saw that I could revive myself with an ad I tried it I had to watch a 30 second ad and then I was revived and guess what? I literally died again after 3 seconds and had another 30 second ad thrown in my face! Also, why the @$&* would I pay $2.99 to remove all the unnecessary ads!? So.. making the smart decision (which is rare in my case) I deleted the game now I would re-get the game and if I could, re write a review and even recommended it to my brother if u updated it and REMOVED THE $&@* ADS till then, ya get one star from me even though the game it’s self was addicting
Peace out ppl ~ shades the cat 🐈

Edit: holy cow I saw a stupid autocorrect and I fixed that! AHHHHH also, 2 stars now cuz da ads r better (I downloaded it again) k bye
