Snap2Map application lets you easily tell your story on a map using photos on your iPhone.
Pick your vacation photos and create an Esri story map in just a few steps using this
application.

Snap2Map allows you to
- Create new story map tour by picking the photos on your phone or taking them as you build the story.
- Edit various details of each photo like Title, Description, Location and the pin color.
- Choose to save the story map as a draft before publishing on to the web.
- Publish the story map to generate a public application that can be shared with friends and family.
- View your published story maps within the application or on the web.
- Once published, the story map can only be edited on the web.
REMEMBER : This application requires ArcGIS organizational account.

My Review
Application works like it should. Nice having direct access to publish story maps from camera roll other than web only. Backgrounds are a bit plain and limited options of story map types could be an area for improvement. Although being a prototype from iOS sdk it's understood this is a beta app. Whoever did the help docs did a really great job. I look forward to seeing more pro types apps and lets hope this app goes into production with some enhancements down the line.
It kept quitting on me
I was trying to take photos of 236 properties. I would take 20 shots, and then the app would kick me out. There was no draft story map, no record of the notes I made or the photos I took. So I would have to start over. I finally gave up.
Yes, the photos were still on my camera roll but I noticed they did not have the lats and longs on them.
