It’s become one of the best ways to share memories, maintain friendships, and stay up to date on news and views from our go-to websites.
Simply jumbled
I really enjoy Snapchat. I use it for the majority of my communication with my friends. I have received the latest update and like so many other people I’m not impressed. If you look at your reviews they have gone down from the last time I checked of at least three stars down to 1.8 stars. People are not happy and I think you need to realize that yes the Bitmoji’s are great and we like them a lot but the update itself has gotten very confusing. I’m the kind of person that only likes to look at my friends stories but I find myself always looking at people stories I don’t care about simply because I’m just tapping through. I also dislike the fact that when I go and see my Discover I see stories that I have already seen on my chat side. The text is gotten smaller and darker and it’s hard for my vision. I would request that you would make it easier for people to see without having to make all of these changes just to see their Snapchat. I have you Snapchat for many years and have enjoyed it but this update is simply not good. There are some aspects that I like but stories on the same side as chat is not a good idea. However I would like to compliment you on the fact that you added more fonts however they take up a lot of space on my chat screen I would like to see them smaller or perhaps able to come up when I tap a button. I don’t need the old Snapchat back I do want a revised version of the two. Just be wary of your customers who brought you all your money.
I’m begging you
As much as I hated the new update in the beginning (the update that put stories and friends on the same page), I have grown to like it. However, I think the app is lacking some basic features that we’ve been asking for for a long time. Firstly, we need a way to easily remove and add people to your best friends list. You can’t imagine how awkward it is when someone gets on my list and I know I’m not on theirs, which means they get that pesky friend emoji by my name (and vice versa). Although the current list is supposedly based on who I snapchat the most, those aren’t always the people I want to snapchat. I have a lot of friends who have been kicked off my list by people that I don’t want to snapchat that much and it’s very annoying. A lot of times I’ll take a funny video that I want to send to all my real irl best friends but then only half of them are on the list and I have to search for a bunch of people. Also, it would be nice if everyone had a list of their top three or four best friends under their name when you press and hold on it. This was a cool feature that snapchat had a long time ago that you guys got rid of, but it was really nice to see who your friends were friends with and potentially add them as friends. I think that if you were to add these features it would likely constitute a glowing five-star review from not only me but lots of other users, which is something I can see you desperately need right now.
