What's New in version 2.7

Thanks for helping us in making Snapheal even better.
What's New in version 2.6
Speed and performance improvements.
We have dramatically enhanced the erasing powers of the app. All erasing modes now support smart pixel recognition algorithm, that is not available in other software. We've also improved the image processing speed, so Snapheal is the fastest image healing app, available on Mac OS today.
The new App Centre.
We heard you and made it easy to transfer images from Snapheal to other photo editors by Macphun. Now you can remove the objects in Snapheal, click the red M in the top left corner and turn the App Centre on. Then pick the Macphun app you have and instantly move your image to it without any quality loss.
Mac OS compatibility updates and improvements.
This includes minor bug fixes with the latest OS X, support for the notification center, improved social sharing, Retina UI fixes, fixes issues with external displays, improved performance of localized versions and other improvements.
Thanks for using Snapheal. You inspire us.
I like this app
I like this app. It is very effective at removing single uncrowded objects from simple backgrounds, I have performed complex object removals using the clone tool along with paintbrush, and adjusting the opacity, etc. I didn’t know there were instructions, but I haven’t had any problems figuring out how to work the app. Experiment a little and you may be surprised by what you com up with. Clone a small white spot to add an eye highlight. Clone hair to cover an unflattering shadow, or clone an empty seatback, on a bus or train, to remove a person. However the number one rule is to check out your background before you take a picture and adjust your framing- then what you have to remove will be less difficult.
It;s OK but….
I wanted to remove a person that was in the background of a photo of my parents. All I managed to do was create a “blob” in the middle where the person was. Tech Support magnificently helped out with cleaning up the “blob”. Another issue was the “cleaned up” photo could only be saved in a smaller size jpg file. But I was able to change that using Adobe Acrobat. I’ve tried removing unwanted objects or persons on other photos and the App does works. Note only if the objects or persons you want to remove from a photo are far from the object or person(s) you want to keep in the photo, then the App works; if they’re too close, then you will get the dreaded “blob”.
Instructions are confusing
After spending a considerable amount of time fiddling with Snapheal and reading the instructions online, I still can’t figure out how to get it to do what I want.
I bought this app because the idea of being able to erase unwanted objects from photos greatly appealed to me (I have so many pictures with people in the background, which in some cases, makes the photo less interesting to me or ruins the photo for me).
Of course, after diligently following the instructions provided, nothing worked. I ended up with this weird blob in the middle of my photo. Very unfortunate.
