Much Like FF Tactics, but quicker turns

Gameplay is very simple and fast paced. Characters are able to level via items the earn from killing enemies. The character creation seems random however if you spend enough time creating characters you will inevitably find a great character. The game is a bit pricey for an iOS game however when compared to a PSP or N3DS game it is still hard to turn down. I played the Lite version and found it addictive quickly grabbing the full version to continue playing. If you like FF Tactics but feel the gameplay is too slow this will definitely bring you back to that style play.

It's great, but...

The only problem I have that is keeping me from giving this a five star review is the fact that it auto saves DURING battle. If you are in a boss battle you can't retreat from, and you get to a point where no matter WHAT you do, you're going to die in the next turn, it sometimes saves in that situation. So you can't move forward, because you can't beat the level, and since it's a boss battle, you can't retreat and start over the battle, so you're forced to start a new game. I think it would be much better it it saved just before the battle starts, so you can plan out a different strategy.

This game is nothing less of what you would expect from Square Enix. The graphics are amazing, and character designs are unique. The gameplay is smooth with simple controls. The trooper battles are challenging, yet fun. The plot is a bit tear jerking, but lovely. All in all, this game is worth every cent spent.

A note to Square Enix: With this update you allowed us to hear music while creating tune troopers, but now the Album covers can't be seen after a track has been selected. xD Please fix this.
