What's New in Version 9.0.25
I spent over an hour trying to configure this app via wireless connection to hear my iTunes library through the Bose Wave system - just like other reviewers stated it doesn't stream any music from my phone (it streams Internet radio from what I can gather) - what is the purpose of this app if you can't do the simplest and most needed of tasks? Of course it is a Bose scam where you need to buy an iPod adapter and/or Bluetooth adapter - I already paid over $500 the sound system - how much do I need to pay for simple consumer gear? Don't waste your time with this app - no practical usefulness as far as I can see. I am also disappointed that the Bose representative said that I could stream my iPod music from my phone with "no problem" via wireless. I guess they don't know their products so well.
This system is great, fabulous sound and to those who say they can't play their music from iphone or ipad, i say try again be patient and use the playlists (from the "explore" tab) this time and it will play. i got frustrated at first too but got it to work at last and it's awesome!!
2 reasons why i did not give it 5 stars:
-No equalizer function what so ever
-No Bose wireless headphones are designed to work with this device...!?!
Sync iPad with Sound Touch - alternative solution
As many of you I had the annoying issue of trying to sync my iPad music Library with the SoundTouch. Well, I think I found an alternative solution. I downloaded the app to my Mac and sync the SoundTouch with my Music Library in my Mac. Since my Mac and my iPad are synchronized, while my Mac is on, I can control the music from my iPad.
This is not as it should go -I think Bose could do something better about the app- but it works. I hope you find this useful.
