This App, which operates without an internet connection, helps find and identify plants. When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections.
The App includes over 4,600 species of plants found in the South California area. Overall, roughly 3,100 are "Wildflowers", 530 are shrubs, 240 are trees, 40 are vines, 30 are cactus, 100 are aquatic plants, 440 are grasses and sedges, 70 are ferns, 160 are lichen, 90 are moss and 50 are seaweed.

My mother found a flower in the back yard that showed up on its own. I work at an environmental firm in san diego and we were both curious as to what the flower could be. So I plugged in all the various things for color, number of petals, type of leaves and it worked!!! There were about 100 results to scroll thru but it was quick.
