Space App is a handy reference for the entire human space flight program. It covers the programs of the United States, USSR, Russia, and China.
Space App has information on missions, projects, crews, and vehicles. All data is completely cross-referenced: click on a flight, see all crewmembers. Look for an astronaut, see all flights flown.
Data included covers areas such as the launch and landing dates, flight duration, destination of the flight, the disposition of the spacecraft, number of orbits, and orbital data. Optionally, more technical data can be presented in a "Space Nerd" mode: when available, it will display launch and landing weights, maximum dynamic pressure, maximum g's, landing roll-out, landing speed, etc.
Units are customizable, so users can opt for British or SI. In addition, various modes of flight are customizable, so universal conventions can be used, such as knots for airspeed, or m/s or km/s for space speeds.
Space App is up to date, containing a great deal of original research, going back to official sources. It clears up a lot of misinformation from the Cold War, which is perpetuated on the World Wide Web.
Space App is an indispensable application for space enthusiasts, tourists to any space center, students, and to those simply curious as to the broad panorama of human spaceflight, the greatest engineering achievement of human history.

A very thorough, detailed database for a quick-reference app. Search by project/mission name, astronaut, or country. Choose metric or traditional units, & can index by date or alphabetically. Learned a lot from the mini-glossary too!
Great app, but database needs updating...
I like this app & love going thru the different catagories. However, it looks like the database ends in 2011. Any plans to include recent ISS, SpaceX, & Orbital missions?
As a teacher, this is a great App for both educational purposes and personal research. From statistics to history, this well-documented and accessible information makes for a great teaching tool. I am excited to implement this data in my lesson plans!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
