Nice Educational Tool & Pretty Too!

Why anyone would use 'picture of the day' apps that have advertising is beyond me.

Probably the same mentality as panning this app because the photos are too "scientific" whatever that means!

Too few images, not retina ready

Nice idea, too bad it's not retina ready and there are way too few images. For example, there are 700+ "Universe" images on the web site but only 60 blurry ones in the app.

Not impressed

The app is ok, but I expected beautiful pictures of outer space and celestial bodies, and there are mostly scientific pictures.
