Did the creators fall off the face of the earth?!?
The first time I saw this game was about three years ago in an Apple store, and they had just come out with the Christmas update, and I immediately fell in love. About one year later, I decided to finally PAY for it. I fell in love with it again every time I played it, although I did find it a little odd that it was still on the same update that it had been a year ago, but I didn’t mind at the time. I didn’t play the game for a while, and when I tried to play it, a notification popped up saying that it was outdated, and was not compatible with IOS 11. I was mad, but I thought that maybe it had just become outdated, and soon the creator would fix it. But it’s been 6 months now, and so I decided to look into emailing the creators. I went to the references that Apple provided, and even their WEBSITE was out of date. But realizing that they had won MULTIPLE awards, I thought that their name or email might be somewhere on the internet, but no, ‘twas not to be. If they don’t come out with an update REALLY soon, I demand my money back.
Fun game, awesome potential
Fun game. I love the ship building possibilities. If you don't live under a rock they are not hard to figure out. Play with it a little bit. Make something simple. Try a box. Then go from there. It's 3-D space which blows some people's minds I guess, they can't think that way. That's too bad for them, don't "dummy it down" for everyone else.
The game levels could be a little more complex. Once you go through one you've pretty much seen them all. The bosses have some variety but only about 3 or 4 them they are repeats basically with different colors and add homing missiles. The level 13 bosses are kind of interesting. But again just a lot of what you've already beat to get there.
One question though if I spend the $1.99 or $2.99 is that upgrade only for that ship or is it all ships? If it's only for the one ship that's a little ridiculous.
Nice game with a caveat
Nice game with a retro look!! Only problem was that when after going through the painstaking and time consuming process of obtaining the most powerful ship in the game, it crashed on me, thereby dumping me back out to my Home Screen! I did get the high score and
my ranking went up, but I was upset when the game decided to crash on me. I'm using the 5th Generation iPod touch and I expect not to have any game crash on me, especially when playing it for prolong periods. Other than that, this game is great. It's worth getting the double cubes, as it makes things a little easier. The game does get hard as you go through it, though as the bosses get tougher to kill.
