Ratings and Reviews
We paid and downloaded this app for our 8 month old. The description said that with purchase we would get 8 movies. The 8 movies are less than 3 minutes long. On you tube we are able to watch for free 12 minute movies. We feel the developers lied on what came with the $4.99 purchase. Not worth the money.
Sparkabilities 1 VS Sparkabilities 2
I like this app. I wondered what the different was between Sparkabilities 1 and 2. 1 has sound effects in the flash cards (a boing sound each time the screen is touched). 2 has words (big star, small star, red star, blue star, two stars, etc.)
When playing flash cards you flip through several by touching anywhere on the screen, then at the end there are about 5 in each set where you have to touch on the face to advance to the next screen. My only complaint is thatI wish there were more of these cards where you have to "hunt" for the face.
My son really enjoys this app!
This is educationally the greatest thing that has happened to my family because our 1year old has an eye focusing problem. According to her doctor (we showed him the video) it could prevent later eye problems she more than likely would develop (ie, reading issues). We are ecstatic to share it with her, watching her follow the whole video, beginning to end and laughing at the happy parts. Thank you so much. We smile a lot now!
Five big stars!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
