App is not great. Too much lag
I teach high school, but I have some kids that really like to record their voice and they love mad libs. I struggled to record at first, despite the explicit instructions to press and HOLD the microphone to record my voice. If you plan to use it in the classroom, play around with it a little before you use it in a lesson. My voice was rather monotone in contrast to the narrator, so also add more spunk to your tone. It will take a few attempts to get it right, but overall a great and fun idea. Wonderful for short "brain breaks". Also, I believe, the wireless is not necessary for use. So, on those rare day when the wireless goes down, you can use this to keep things rolling.
Great, but lags when recording slightly
This app is really fun! I like how you can record your voice and add new words to the story every time. The one "flaw" that I can notice in the ad is that when you push the button there is a slight lag between the light coming on and your voice being recorded, so when the story is playing back to you, it doesn't flow as smoothly as you want it to. I am on an iPad 3, so it should be powerful enough, but the problem isn't really that big of a problem, just a little annoying for the smoothness of the story.
