What's New in Version 2.3
A HUGE thank you to all of our SparkleFish fans! You've asked for it and we've got it - a new, FREE story called "The Greeting Card!"
We've also thrown in a couple of bug fixes too.
Great, but lags when recording slightly
This app is really fun! I like how you can record your voice and add new words to the story every time. The one "flaw" that I can notice in the ad is that when you push the button there is a slight lag between the light coming on and your voice being recorded, so when the story is playing back to you, it doesn't flow as smoothly as you want it to. I am on an iPad 3, so it should be powerful enough, but the problem isn't really that big of a problem, just a little annoying for the smoothness of the story.
Great for students!
I am a speech pathologist and I am always looking for fun but educational apps for my students. This app certainly fits the bill! I often use it at the beginning or end of a speech sessions with my students for a bit of fun wrap-up. They enjoy making the silly stories and they can work on describing words, nouns, verbs etc. Nice little app.
Fun to work on parts of speech
The app is fun and easy to use. It's great that it reads the story to you, adding your audio in the correct places... Like an audio Mad Libs. Wish the recorded audio was a bit louder when the story is played. The story is loud, but the audio I recorded is not, even though I spoke in a normal volume. I had to turn up the volume most of the way to hear the words I recorded, but then the pre-recorded audio was almost too loud.
