Suggestions for improvement
Target sound cards only speak the word when it is first presented. I would like the option to tap the card again to get the target spoken.
The pop up box that tells you if you lost a turn or get to move ahead is small. It would be great if it had the option to speak the direction aloud.
Data doesn't store in the app. You can see your data at any time during the game and at the end but if you don't copy it or email it, you lose it.
Data only gives you a percentage of correct, incorrect or cued and not the number of words attempted and correct.
Overall a good app for practice and fun.
As an SLP I have MANY apps for articulation. This one is what it promises. When the card pops up on each turn it is nice that the program allows you to get multiple productions per turn and to take data on each production (or you could just have the student produce it once and move on.) The animations are very game-like and the colorful drawings add to the playfulness of the game. The only thing I would like would be to save the student's data after a session, however the app allowsyou to email yourself (or parents) the data before exiting the app. Thank you for another well done app.
Fun Artic App
This is a fun alternative to traditional artic apps. I like to use it at the end of a session to reinforce what we've learned. My clients get really excited about it. I like that I can target different sounds for different clients. It allows you to pick specific word positions or all positions. If I only have one client, I set myself up as a player so we still have a competition, and I use the same target sounds as the client to increase productions. This app is a little pricey, but worth it.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
