Connect to a Spider V via Lightning cable to browse, download, edit and save your guitar tones.
An active connection to a Spider V amp is not required to browse and edit tones, and tones can be saved in the user's Line 6 account.

Freezes or resyarts
I've had my Line6 Spider V 120 for about two weeks now & I love the amp. However, if I close the screen on the app or if it closes after a few minutes on its own, it either freezes or it crashes & needs to be restarted. The same thing happens with the identical iPhone 8+ with iOS 12.2 that my wife has. It works fine on my iPad 4. I'm working with tech support now to try to fix the issue. Hope you can issue an update soon.
As an app developer myself, I am just appalled by how bad this app is. And it never gets updated at all. Want to search for a tone? Nope, yo have to type the entirety of the name of the tone EXACTLY or you don’t get anything. There is not real “search”, it is either you know exactly what the tone is called or you get nothing. This app was a lot of the reason I bought a spider 5 but it is so lackluster that it a major disappointment.
I’m having trouble using the app all of a sudden. It’s not allowing me to use the tone cloud when connected to the amp and I also cannot edit my personal tones. It’s very irritating... any feedback would be nice. And yes I have it switched correctly and everything is updated
